Silver raised his lip in a silent sneer. The hell was a God Stone? Silver honestly didn’t want to give anything to this weirdo. Who comes out in the middle of a snow storm- oh wait. Silver sighed, fussing around in his saddle bag for some nonsense, finding a little chunk of Amethyst. “Is this your ‘God Stone’?” He asked the dark colored kem with an unimpressed look.

“What? No, that’s just a piece of Amethyst!” The kem snapped back.

Silver sighed, “Ok let me see what other stones I have, honestly this is a massive waste of my time.”

They spent a while with Silver pulling out every stone he had, showing them to Indra the sea witch who then would deny that it was a God Stone.

“Listen lady, I don’t know what your God Stone is.” He pinched the bridge of his nose, “And it’s getting cold out here; I honestly don’t know why I’m even still here. Either you give up this idea of getting a God’s Stone, or at least we can walk into the nearby inn and tavern and take a look at what I have. You better be paying me well for this.” He grumbled.

“Fine, I’ll agree to walk to the tavern. I have to be back home before sunrise though, I’d rather not get caught in the light.”

Silver grimaced, unsure why he was even still giving this kem any time of his day. It was like 2am at this point.

“Alright.” Silver motioned with his head down the street, “Who are you anyways?”

“Indra.” She quietly said, “I’ve also been referred to as the Sea Witch.”

Silver thought for a moment, “I believe I’ve heard stories about a Sea Witch, but they were all nonsense you tell to kits to keep them in bed.”

“Yes, those are about me.”

“Well I could never tell why people would be so rude to you, it’s not like you’re harassing kems in the middle of the night for nonsense stones.” Silver’s words dripped with sarcasm.

Indra did not respond to this in any way with her expression, “I’ve been looking for a God Stone for the past three days, I’m going to need one soon but it’s such trouble for me to find one.”

“Alright, can you just tell me what a God Stone is, or what it does?” Silver pushed open the door to the tavern where it was nearly deathly silent inside, as most all the kems had gone to bed at this point.

“It’s a mushroom. Small, dark brown, round, has a bit of a silver-y sheen to it.”

Silver dropped his saddle bag on a table, “You mean to tell me I’ve been going through stones this whole time and you’ve been looking for a mushroom??” He snapped at her.

Indra shrugged.

“Good heavens, what a nonsense evening this has been.” Silver grit his teeth, he pulled out a mushroom of this description. “There, is this it.”

Indra nodded quickly, “Yes, do you have any more?”

Silver sighed, annoyed, and pulled out a few more from his satchel.
